Having just gone through the wedding planning experience myself I can say with great enthusiasm that these two rocked it (wedding planning that is).  Every detail, the dress, the flowers, the location, the guests, food, toasts, need I go on?  It was an emotional day filled with family, close friends, and intimate details.  Lexi and Matt fell in love 7 years ago.  Shortly into what they knew was their perfect relationship Matt got deported to Canada, Lexi cried and consoled herself in the company of Coldplay ballads and close friends (I think he did too).  So they did what everyone in a romantic comedy would do; they decided to risk it, follow their hearts, and get legally married.  That was 5 years ago.  One might think that the story ends there but quite the opposite is true.  They dated married and waited for the right moment to decide to get married, for real.  With that 4 years passed, Matt proposed, Alexis said YES!, and wedding plans were underway.  Their story is one that is truly touching.  More than that, their relationship is one that admired by all who know them and sought after by anyone who’s ever been in love.  A happy ending is inevitable.  Congrats you two!  Thank you for inspiring me both as a photographer and wife!
