Amy began planning her wedding at 8 years old (so says her most adorable father)! Growing up in Minnetonka, she new that one day she would have her reception at the Lafayette Club and when finally, the opportunity arrived she put together a gorgeous celebration, the one she had been working on for over a decade!
There was one overwhelming vibe to the whole wedding. Yes, the decor, attire, details were to die for (she worked with some of the very best vendors ever)… but beyond that there was a strong undercurrent of deep love. It was present in the family home when her mom and dad saw her in her dress for the first time. Then again, when Andrew finally got to hug her it was clear that she was for him forever. Even into the reception, their friends and family were so engaged and present in the ceremony and celebration that I left there touched. I knew that these were two remarkable people and I was blessed to know them.
I don’t doubt that their careers and passion for humanity will take Amy and Andrew around the world but we will always look forward to their return and getting a moment with them when given one. Very best to the couple!
