I walked into Maria’s getting ready room and knew I was going to have a big crush on this wedding. Here’s how it happened. Start with the presidential suite at the Grand Hotel (presidents like antlers?), then enter 6 pink and polka dot clad bridesmaids, and of course there was Maria – calm, collected, and gorgeous. Bryan is every bit as kind and down to earth as he looks. And who have you seen rock the slick-back do like him.
This wedding was all about vintage glam, close loved ones, and two fabulously (and seriously) in-love people. They kept the wedding intimate and it was clear that those present cared deeply for this pair. Most touching to me was the family dynamic. These two come from strong families, with parents who have very evidently devoted their lives and their love to their children. As a mother, I am always touched by the expressions of pride and joy on the faces of parents. Theirs were especially memorable.
The celebration continued at the ever-stunning Varsity Theatre. No one lost their enthusiasm for a good time which, when paired with the dazzling lights and uproarious toasts, lead the reception into a night sealed with all the goodness of the day. This mama went home twitterpated.
Many thanks, as always to the amazing talent that contributed to this event:
