Where to begin?.. I met Abbey & John a year ago at my very favorite spot, The Local. Where better to get a New Castle and talk wedding, right? I pulled out their file 8 months later and read through my notes about how great they were and quickly remembered how excited I was for the wedding.

Not only do they both live in Iowa and faced the obstacles of out of town planning but both were in their final year of law school. Yes, overacheivers, I know!!! I’m happy to say I just got an update that both Abbey & John passed the bar. What a summer!

I’m ashamed to say that there was a time in my life that I had a slight stereotype of Iowans. It’s partly fair, I’ve got relatives down there and the fit the mold! However, Abbey was absolutely gorgeous and one of the most stylish brides of the year in my book! Despite a few missing planners the day was perfect and went off with out a hitch.
