Alia and Riz held their Friday evening reception at the Lafayette Club this past weekend. A qaint traditional ceremony had taken place 2 weeks earlier and now was the time for celebration. Celebration they did, and oh so well! I had a blast at this event. Their family and guests were so engaged and jubilant to say the least.





After getting ready we headed to downtown Wayzata for a few photos. The weather was great and everyone was a complete natural when it came to the camera!





This event was rich with culture and beautifully sentimental.


***Note to anyone and everyone planning a dance: “Beat It” (by good ole Michael) is the BEST song ever! Well, at least for a dance. Obviously this guy shared my opinion many a late nights as he corregraphed this amazing performance to it! Really, he was just a good dancer and managed to get everyones attention. But I must urge you to put this song at the top of your music list for receptions. If for no other reason than for the love of your photographer!
