I’m so excited to share one of my very favorite boudoir sessions with you!
I think this is obvious but weddings are this girl’s passion. I love them and will always focus the majority of my time and energy on mastering the art of wedding photography. Second to that though, I love boudoir photography! The chance to capture a woman in this intimate and artful way is something I’ve enjoyed doing for years. My style continually evolves and this most recent session is perhaps my proudest capture to date! We took the approach of telling the story with imagery. In case you don’t know Boudoir is French for: a lady’s dressing room. Boudoir photography has evolved into many things as of late. I wanted to take it back to it’s roots with this shoot and focus on the softer side things and bring forth the sense of femininity and sensuality, something I believe every woman possesses!
I have to thank the team of talent that went into this shoot. First and foremost our most lovely subject, E.M., she inspired the session with her looks, mood and comfort in front of the camera. Next, Cathi of Smart & Chic Bride did all 3 looks for this shoot (hair & make up). Her talent and creativity never ceases to amaze me! In short, she’s a rock star, along this the entire S&C team! Of course, Heidi of The Hip Chics for providing the hospitality and an extra hand for the reflector! Finally, my dear friend and colleague, Maia (La Vie) who helped style and shoot the session with me.

This session was shot in studio… rather convenient should a certain reader find herself considering a boudoir session of her own!
