Brittney recently inspired something that I will now plead with all of my couples to do; start your photography with getting ready coverage in the swankiest hotel you can find!  Despite her wedding ceremony taking place at the St. Paul Cathedral, she started the morning in a stunning suite at the W Hotel… yum!  I didn’t even have to crop out drop ceilings or color correct those not-so-fab fluorescent lights.

This particular May wedding was graced with seemingly hurricane strength winds and rain (so I exaggerate)!  As fate would have it they stepped out of the church, married and all, to sun and calm skies.  Perfect timing for our stroll down Washington for a few photos with the wedding party.  The night ended with a celebratory evening at FIVE Event Center (a personal favorite).  It was a perfect day, filled with emotion, love, and even a little drama!
