As you’ve probably noticed not much happens in the way of weddings in our fridged Minnesota winter months. Alas, wedding season has arrived! My start to the season was kicked off last weekend with a long awaited wedding of Jenny & Erik. It seems like ages ago that I met with these two, so needless to say I was eager for their wedding.

One of my favorite parts of the day happened when I was hangin with Erik waiting for his and Jenny’s first site. He confided in me that he was almost most excited for the evening. When he and Jenny would be able to spend the evening staying in and ordering room service. It was a simple statement but it reminded me that in all the madness and magnitude that is weddings it’s so much more about LOVE, the very simple and very pure love that is shared between the bride and the groom.

So, to Jenny and Erik, thank you for this reminder and thank you for letting me participate in a beautiful celebration of that love.
