Kari & Josh… where to begin? Brit and I had a blast shooting this wedding. These two are a great match and totally in love. Their chemistry made shooting them natural and way too easy! Josh would just look at Kari and melt and Kari would glance at him and smile her gorgeous smile!



We started with getting ready photos at a great hotel downtown St. Paul. I love, love, love this part of the day. It’s so intamate and filled with anticipation. Note to brides: this is about as perfect of a condition as a photographer could hope for. Lots of natural light and a clean, well decorated environment = great photos.

They had their first site at Christos. The bridesmaids made a rule that they weren’t allowed to kiss until the ceremony. Kari optimistcally agreed… that pact lasted her all of 34 seconds alone with Josh!










I was given free reign to pick where to do photos… yay! Sometimes the most common of places, such as a sidewalk or parking lot, can make for an incredible and unique backdrop. It was great working with such a large wedding party, they were festive and totally fun!











This was a beautiful wedding but the tone of it was so greatly enhanced by the fabulousness of Kari and Josh! I hope our paths cross many times in the future!
