We had the pleasure of shooting Kristen and Matt’s wedding this past weekend. I had been looking forward to working with Kristen since meeting her almost a year ago. The wedding was perfect, everyone had a blast, and Kristen and Matt got married! Yay!

Need I say anything? GORGEOUS! Kristen is/was beautiful. I love these shots of her… the eyes say it all.

These two were so cute during the first site. I always tell people to ignore us during this time. Not an issue for Kristen and Matt, there was no one in the world but them and they were thrilled to finally be seeing eachother. During this time they exchanged a pair of diamond earings and a pocket watch. It’s a good day for gifts!

I’m not sure what was said but I think Matt was getting “The Talk” as Kristen’s father gave her away. It was obvious the whole day that Kristen and her dad are extremely close, it was a touching moment!



We stopped at Rice Park after the ceremony for some photos with the wedding party. It’s amazing to me how much a short limo ride can lift the spirits of the group! A little champagne seems to makes photos so much more entertaining to those involved. So photo tip #113 – get your gang good n happy with a beverage or two and unleash the photographers on them!

I love the lights in the park – a perfect replacement for the absence of natural light.







They hosted a beautiful reception at the St. Paul College Club in downtown St. Paul.

I’m convinced a wedding is the equivelant of Disney World to kids, provided there’s a gang of them! They’re always entertaining and so cute!
