Lauren & Steve were married on 06.07.08 (I’m terribly behind on my blogging) in St. Paul. They held a ceremony at Mere’s Park and their reception at Christos Union Depot. These two were amazing. Everything they did through out the ceremony had a personal touch on it. Every one there seemed to be incredibly engaged in the event and elated for the couple. This wedding held the record for longest average hugs during the receiving line. All a testament to how special these two are.

When meeting them I was instantly enthralled when they told me their plans to get married, pack up, and move to Milwakee to start an ice cream shop! I mean, really… who does that! It’s so inspiring seeing people truly live out their dreams. I don’t doubt for a second that everything they do will be a success, most of all their marriage.

We had time before the ceremony to tour the city. Something I highly recommend to all of my couples. The wedding day is all about the couple, make sure you have time to spend on pics of just the two of you when planning your wedding day.





For those of you who have seen the movie 27 Dresses, the cute blonde Grey’s Anatomy girl who’s name I forget, talks about her very favorite part of the wedding being the groom’s face as the bride walks down the aisle… couldn’t be more true!

It only makes sense that these two would skip the traditional wedding cake and instead opt for an ice cream sunday bar, Yum!
