Is it too soon to say “I Love You”?  No?  Good!  Kate and Steve, I totally LOVE you!  Due to busy schedules and conflicting travel plans we decided to shoot their engagement session in their own backyard of Lincoln Park, Chicago.  Can I just say; traveling makes my heart sing.  When paired with photography, I have a full on orchestra of joy going on inside.  I love exploring new places, seeing new textures, finding that the sun plays differently in California than it does in Minneapolis.  Add to it this fabulous couple… This girl was a happy one!

Like so many, Kate and Steve met online.  Exhausted by the routine of awkward first dates and meaningless online conversations they may have went into their first date with a mild sense of trepidation.  Thankfully it was fleeting.  They found countless commonalities and an instant attraction to one another.

Our hour long session turned into two, then three.  I love their dynamic and connection.  It was easy, comfortable, fun, silly and sexy all in one!   I’m so very excited for their 2019 wedding.  Until then, enjoy a few favorites from the session!
