Where to begin with Lisa & John… to say they are fantastic, inspiring, kind, generous, endearing people would only be a start! They were married last weekend at Wayzata Community Church and the Lafayette Club in Minnetonka. The wedding was gorgeous but it was their dynamic that was the most stunning part of the day. If you scroll down a few posts you’ll see their engagement session which was equally captivating. Anticipation and elation exude from them and being a part of telling their story has been a complete joy.

Despite their wedding being in Wayzata they decided to venture all the way into the city for a few shots of the two of them. Photographer recommendation: this is a fabulous idea! Any time you can take advantage of interesting landscapes for your wedding photography you should! It will be worth the extra time and travel.

This photo [below] isn’t necessarily a fantastic shot but I had to include it as it was the central theme of the day. Lisa and John are devoted to God and made Him the focus of both their ceremony and reception. It added such meaning and significance to the whole experience. I can’t express how much I respect the faith displayed in both of them.

They are both singers
and musicians and shared their talents through out the day. First, a song during the ceremony (my personal breaking point), then John sang to Lisa during their first dance, and finally Lisa performed a song, I believe, she had written for John, it was beautiful.
