San Fran & Napa Valley

Tim and I went to Napa last week. Yum to everything about the trip! Our friends got married out there and we figured we’d add on a few days for fun in the sun. So, it was 100 degrees every day, the open top bus tour at noon… yeah, not the best idea. First of all, tours are kind of dorky. Second, I never think far enough in advance to bring sunscreen (after 27 years I still deny that I burn)! And third, an open top bus just doesn’t lend you even a remote view from the inside. I was screwed! I totally burned my first day of the trip. Thankfully we headed to Napa and the never ending flow of wine soothed the constant pain of a sunburn!!!

These photos are somewhat random. I have a thing for interesting shapes, bright colors, and urban landscape so you get a little of it all!

You would be absolutely amazed at how long barking seals can entertain a crowd. I was facinated with the oddity of these creatures. They filled the San Fran bay and made for a major tourist attraction.

Me and Tim. You gotta love this pose, always so flattering [sarcastic]! Anyway, isn’t he the cutest?

The Golden Gate Bridge

This is our friend Trisha who is beautiful and way too fun to point a camera at! We all shared a house in Napa. If you happen to travel out there I highly recommend renting instead of the hotel stay. It comes to be about the same price but it’s cozy, cute and you can keep your Chardonay cold!

On the last day we did a vineyard tour. Loved it!

I’ve traveled to about 20 countries and a whole lot of states… San Francisco was fun but not my favorite. I think I’m an east coast girl. Anyway, it was an awesome trip and we had a blast.
