We have an ongoing debate in our house: Fat Free vs. the full flavor fabulousness of anything not labeled “lite” or “no fun”. Perhaps you can tell which side of the debate I stand on. Tim recently put his money where his mouth is and challenged me to a taste test. It came about when I had a girl moment about having too many condiments in the house. We’ve all been there, right? There’s two of everything; Tim’s fat free Ranch dressing and my nummy and natural regular ranch!
The bet was simple. Tim put $30 on the hopes that I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between regular Jiff (a childhood staple) and the less friendly “reduced fat” version. After many attempts to tip the scales in his favor I am elated to announce I correctly guessed the difference in flavors each time.
It goes with out saying, I won $30 spending money just in time for a Twins game that night (of which I spent on a Dome Dog and mini dougnuts) and now have a leg up on the battle of eliminating everything healthy from the refrigerator!
So what’s your vote: butter or I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter (I CAN!)
